Fried 2 of these within 3 months
So disappointed……. If any lube seeps over the edge of the sleeve… (lets face it that’s gonna happen), it goes directly onto the circuit board and shorts out the board. They don’t put any kind of protection over the board to prevent a short, and as a result I’ve fried 2 of them in short order. I didn’t realize that’s what happened until I got the second one and thought it was strange after it happened a second time so I decided to pull it apart and see what was going on. Now I gotta hope they cover both of these under warranty since there’s no returns on these things. If they do send me new ones I’m going to create a waterproof seal over the circuit board. When it does work it’s decent… a little loud, could be a bit faster and more powerful but everything is plastic inside, the plunger, the linkage etc… I will probably try to rig up a switch and a variable speed dial on these at least have something…these things were pretty expensive too, I’d expect better quality and durability for the price.
